Value of [11C]-methionine PET/CT in preoperative localization of adenomas in primary hyperparathyroidism

Introduction: The first-line imaging modalities to locate adenomas preoperatively in primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) are ultrasonography (US) and subtraction scintigraphy (SuSc).
