Immune checkpoints inhibitors have fundamentally changed the management of oncologic patients. These treatments consist of monoclonal antibodies directed against CTLA-4 (cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4), PD-1 (programmed cell death protein-1) and PD-L1 (one of its ligands).
