The aim: To examine the ultrasound data of gonads in women with obesity in fertile age.
Material and methods: We observed the reproductive health of 25 women with obesity and infertility (1 st group). Second group of patients consisted from 25 healthy women without obesity. The age of patients of 1 st group was from 20 to 39 years old, in average 28.3±0.64. The age of patients of 1 st group was from 22 to 37 years old, in average 30.4±0.51/
In 1 st group women were distributed depend from body mass index (BMI) into 3 subgroups: with obesity of 1 st degree: (BMI =28.030.9) 7 (28%), with obesity of 2 degree (BMI =31.035.9) 8 cases (32%), with 3 degree of obesity (BMI =36.040.9) 10 women (40%).
In second group 23 (92%) women have normal BMI data (BMI =20.025.9), and 2 patients (8%) with deficits I of weight (BMI <18.5).
The results of the study: The results of folliculomeriya showed high frequency of cases of folliculs persistencia y 18 (30%), anovulation 14 (23.3%) and atresia of folliculis 12 (20%), hypoovulatory syndrome - 8 (13.3%). The normal ovulatory period was found in 6 women (10%). Then, ultrasound investigation is noinvasive, access and sensitive method of evaluation of menstrual cycle and process of ovulation in women of fertile age with obesity.
Conclusions: We established, that in fertile age women with obesity in structure of disorders of periods more frequently be found secondary amenorrhea - 8 (32.0%), folliculs persistencia y 18 (30%), anovulation 14 (23.3%) and atresia of folliculis 12 (20%).
